Clooney-Quin have become the latest side to book their place in the quarter final of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship.

In a sweeping first half performance, competing against a seasoned Cratloe outfit and a stiff breeze, the mid-Clare men rose three green flags.
Jimmy Corry rattled the net inside thirteen minutes, before county star Peter Duggan added a brace which included a penalty on the stroke of half-time.
Dannan Fox and Michael Corry would get in on the act in the second half to see Tommy Corbett’s charges into the last eight on a full time score of 5-12 to 0-13.
