The Clare Senior footballers have left the banner county and made their way to Gaelic Games Headquarters in pursuit of the National Football League Division Four Title.
Colm Collins side take on Tipperary in Croke Park this evening, with both sides eyeing up Silverware to add to an already successful campaign with promotion to Division 3 football secured for 2015.
Clare management have made just one change to their team, an enforced change as regular wing forward Sean Collins is unavailable – the dual player, along with his brother Podge is in Portugal on a training camp with the Senior Hurlers.
Clondegads Shane Brennan is the player coming in, named at full forward in a reshuffle to Clare’s attack.
Tipperary Manager Peter Creedon has strengthened his side with 6 changes to the team that were beaten by Wicklow in the final round.
Seasoned Clare footballer, Captain Gary Brennan makes his first appearance in Croke Park today, and says he looks forward to it but hopes to put in a strong team performance.
