Colm Collins side were 2-17 to 0-8 victors over Eire Óg in their winners round tie.
It was a tight opening to the game with the sides level on four occasions before last years beaten finalists took control to lead 0-8 to 0-4 at the break.
They kicked on from there to outscore their opponents 2-9 to 0-4 after the restart to give them the win.
The first goal came from a Cathal McInerney penalty after a foul on Podge Collins ten minutes from time, while he doubled his goal tally with a second minutes later.
McInerney finished with a personal tally of 2-9
Eire Óg now go into the final playoff round in two weeks time.
