A Clare Fianna Fáil TD has called a reformation of the social welfare system, along with alternative cost of living supports as the second day of the party’s think-in is underway.
The party’s Senators and Deputies are in Tullamore this week with the Budget, housing, the cost of living and infrastructure leading discussions.

Meelick Fianna Fáil TD, Cathal Crowe, claims a more robust social welfare system is needed, while providing adequate care for those unable to work.
The Clare deputy also says a different approach to tackling the cost of living should be taken, rather than handing out more energy credits.
