A dominant extra time performance saw the Townies record a 3-19 to 0-14 points win after the sides finished level after 60 minutes.
The game was scoreless after the first quarter of an hour while St.Josephs had the better of the remainder of the opening period leading 0-4 0-2 at the break.
A second half Mark McInerney penalty brought the sides level after 54 minutes, with both sides trading points late on as it finished 1-10 to 13 points.
McInerney raised his second green flag in extra time, while Darren O’Brien also found the net as Éire Óg outscored their neighbours 2-9 to one point to claim the title.
