Éire Óg’s character shone through claims their manager as they produced a fourth consecutive Round One victory in the senior hurling championship.
The Ennis outfit gained a measure of revenge for last year’s quarter-final loss, as they beat Clare Cup champions Kilmaley by 1-18 to 0-20 after extra-time in Clarecastle yesterday.

David Reidy sent over the winning point after Kilmaley came from six behind to force the added 20 minutes.
