Clare’s Diarmaid Nash suffered defeat this afternoon in the All Ireland senior singles handball final.
The Tuamgraney man lost out to Westmeaths Robbie McCarthy in straight sets at Croke Park.

It was a fifth final meeting between the pairing, with Nash’s only victory coming in 2022.
McCarthy ran out a 21-19, 21-7 winner to claim his 8th All Ireland crown.
