Clare’s SFC Campaign Brought To An End By Louth

The curtain has been drawn on Clare’s All Ireland Senior Football Championship campaign.

Peter Keane’s side have exited the Sam Maguire series after a three point defeat to Louth in Portlaoise this afternoon.

Two first half goals for the Leinster champions had seen them take a 2-8 to 0-6 lead into the half time break.

Goals from Rory McMahon and Aaron Griffin brought Clare roaring back into the game, however they never got any closer than three points adrift.
