Clare’s joint senior hurling manager Gerry O’Connor says their experimental team never stopped creating chances as they began the Munster League campaign with a victory.
Colin Guilfoyle’s goal with two minutes remaining set up a grandstand finish as Clare came from four behind to win 1-20 to 0-21 against Cork in Cusack Park on Saturday.

The result means Clare will qualify for the final on January 13th if they can get a victory over Waterford on Sunday (January 6th) in Dungarvan.
O’Connor added that the crowd really urged Clare on in the last few minutes.
