It’s the opening day of the county senior hurling championship with seven games down for decision.
Our featured match this evening at 7pm comes from Cusack Park as defending champions Ballyea take on 2017 finalists Clooney/Quin.
Ballyea Manager Kevin Sheehan says he’s not sure when any of his injured players will be available.
And Clooney/Quin boss Dave Barry says their players across three teams are enjoying the current set-up.
Throw-in at Cusack Park on Saturday is 7pm and we’ll have live coverage here on Clare FM in association with Blossoms on the Go, Centre Point, Hermitage, Ennis – the garden specialists this summer.

We’ll also have regular updates from the first game of the double header as Sixmilebridge and Clarecastle renew rivalries from the county ground at 5pm.
Clarecastle manager Pat Healy says their focus is on integrating younger players gradually with the older stalwarts.
And Sixmilebridge boss Tim Crowe says the hurling-only sides have been slow to embrace modern methods.
====
And Clare FM will be keeping an eye on the action in Clarecastle as Éire Óg take on Kilmaley at 2.45pm.
Kilmaley manager John Carmody says the contrasting build ups makes it difficult to call a winner.
