A fundraising drive is underway to complete a multi-million euro redevelopment of a famed Clare sporting institution.
In January, Ennis Rugby Club secured planning permission for a major overhaul of its facilities, which would involve a modern clubhouse, upgrading training and gym amenities, three padel courts and an all-weather pitch.

So far, the club has already obtained €2m in grant funding, but needs a further €500,000 to bring the project to fruition.
Chairperson Richard Murphy says it’s vital for the club’s future.
