A Clare man has been appointed to a leading role at one of Ireland’s most prestigous colleges.
Kilnamona native Michael Kerin officially takes the mantle as President at the Royal College of Surgeons from today.

Michael is currently Chair of Surgery at the University of Galway and Director of the Cancer Managed Clinical Academic Network for HSE West and North West.
He’s told Clare FM’s Morning Focus he’s hopeful of delivering further progress in the field.
