Eugene Foudy’s side held off a strong challenge from Offaly to run out winners by 0-16 to 1-8 in Birr.

It means they will now potentially play as part of a Croke Park double header with the hurlers on Sunday next; with their opponents to be decided on Monday morning.
Joint captain Clare Hehir says the side are proud to bounce back from last week’s defeat in the manner they did.
