Clare holidaymakers are being urged to time their excursions and take precautions amid an ongoing heatwave in parts of Europe.
Heat alerts remain in place in parts of Spain, France, Italy and Portugal where temperatures have already exceeded 40 degrees this week.

Travellers are being urged to go out at morning and at night and to sleep during the hottest part of the day, to wear sun block and keep hydrated.
