The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is urging people in Clare to play a part in saving lives, as the ongoing heatwave places strain on blood stocks.
The IBTS is holding a blood donation clinic in Kilrush Community School from 4:50 this evening until 8:10pm.

The service is inviting its regular donors to make an appointment to donate by calling 1800 222 111.
Broadford-based IBTS Donor Recruitment Executive Alex O’Connor says it’s a challenging period.
