Coughlan Injury Blow For Clare Ahead Of Munster Football Semi Final

Clare have been dealt a major blow ahead of tomorrows Munster senior football semi final against Kerry.

Dermot Coughlan will miss out on the showdown with the All Ireland champions due to a hamstring injury.

Stephen Ryan’s unavailability sees Sigerson Cup winner Tristan O’Callaghan start between the posts for Clare.

It’s a familiar full back line with Alan Sweeney, Ronan Lanigan and Manus Doherty.

Captain Cillian Rouine has been passed fit to start and mans the centre back role, with Brendy Rouine and Fionn Kelleher on the wings.

Brian McNamara is joined at midfield by Cillian Brennan.

It’s a new look half forward line for Clare with Conor Meaney, Ikem Igweru and Gavin Murray, while the prolific inside trio are Mark McInerney, Eoin Cleary and Aaron Griffin.

Darragh Bohannon is named on the bench having recovered from injury.
