New fixture details are now in place for the TUS Clare senior hurling and Clare LGFA Senior finals.
It’s after a collaborative effort from both governing bodies in the county saw an agreement reached to prevent the games from clashing on Sunday October 11th.
The TUS senior hurling final will now start at 4.15pm between Inagh-Kilnamona and Kilmaley at Zimmer Biomet Pairc Chíosóg, and will go straight to a replay should the game end level.
The Clare LGFA Senior final between Kilmurry Ibrickane and Fergus Rovers will now have a 2pm throw in on the same day in Kilmihil, with the game having initially been fixed for Cooraclare.
It means supporters can attend both games on the day, with several links between all four clubs involved in both fixtures, including the husband and wife duo of Conor Cleary and Louise Cleary who will be lining for Kilmaley and Fergus Rovers in a senior county final for the first time.
