The captain of the Clare ladies footballers admits the clash of fixtures that is affecting four members of their panel is disappointing.
The players are also part of the Clare camogie side, and face having to choose whether they will line out for their All Ireland clash with Dublin, or the footballers Munster Intermediate Final against Waterford.
The National Camogie Association has refused a request to bring forward the throw-in of their game, which would have allowed Carol O'Leary, Ailish Considine, Emma O'Driscoll and Aoife Keane to play in both matches.
Clare football captain Laurie Ryan says those players have been put in an impossible position.
