Peter Keane is set to be appointed as the new manager of the Clare senior footballers.
The Kerry native was recommended to the county board by a selection committee including chairman Kieran Keating, COO Deirdre Murphy, along with former players Dermot Coughlan and David Tubridy.

Keane managed the Kingdom footballers for two years up to 2021, before losing his role to Jack O’Connor.
No details have been announced of his backroom team, which are expected to be unveiled at the November meeting of club delegates
