Newmarket Celtic’s manager says they’ll be treating every competition as a priority ahead of back-to-back Cup ties.
They face Bridge United in an all-Clare contest in the Munster Junior Cup on Sunday ahead of an FAI Junior Cup tie the following weekend.
Liam Murphy’s charges lost last year at the penultimate hurdle to Limerick’s Janesboro in the 2018 provincial competition.
Murphy says this encounter was a very tight affair when they met at the start of the season. Bridge United only lost by one goal in their previous encounter.
Newmarket Celtic have nine wins from as many games while Bridge United have suffered five losses after a slow start.
Kick-off in Sixmilebridge is at 11am
