Plans have been lodged for a new windfarm in Lissycasey.
Dehomad Wind Farm Limited has submitted proposals to build six turbines up to 180m in height on a 138 hectare site.

The Applicants have promised community benefit initiatives in planning documents submitted to the council.
Dehomad says the windfarm will generate enough electricity to power 26,500 homes per year.
Clare County Council is accepting public submissions until December 3rd with a decision due on January 2nd next year.
