Lahinch woman Marie O’Connor has claimed three medals at the European Transplant Games.
Marie won one gold, one silver and one bronze medal as part of Team Ireland’s haul of 28 medals in the Netherlands.

28 years ago she underwent two life-saving kidney transplants following a viral infection and has long been an advocate for organ donation.
Marie says it’s great to see the number of competitors growing each year.
