Shannon Airport has been shortlisted for two awards at the 2026 Aviation Industry Awards.
The Clare base has been nominated in the Green Impact category stemming from the launch of Ireland’s first on-airfield solar PV farm.

Shannon Airport has also been shortlisted in the Passenger Experience category. which it says is a result of Shannon Airport’s ‘continued investment in the passenger journey, including enhancements to security screening processes’.
It follows, Shannon Airport receiving a nomination last week for the Digital Media Awards for its ‘The Best Place To Fly From’ marketing campaign.
