Kilmurray Ibrickane are through to the Cusack cup final after being the only one of the top three sides in Division one last night to record a win.
The holders defeated Ennistymon by 1-11 to 0-07 to secure their place in the final while Eire Og lost to St Joseph’s by 0-08 to 0-05 and Miltown lost to Doonbeg by 1-14 to 0-08.
Those results mean that St Joseph Doorabarefield will have home advantage in the semi final against St Joseph’s Miltown with Eire og missing out on third place by virtue of a single point in the difference.
The match between Shannon Gaels and Kilrush ended in a 10 points to 1-6 win for the Killimer based side
In the Garry cup meanwhile and table toppers Liscannor lost to O Curry’s by 2-5 to 0-06 but they still are safely through to the final
Clondegad missed out on the chance of securing second spot after they lost to Cooraclare by 14 points to 1-10.
Despite the win Cooraclare and Kilkee are relegated after St breckan’s beat the Seasiders in their match by 1-14 to 0-10.
