It’s claimed a hidden mortgage crisis is affecting hundreds of households in Clare.
A new report from Irish Homes estimates roughly 440 people in this county are in long-term arrears, with a further 260 having already entered the legal process.

Struggling households are being urged to avail of the mortgage to rent scheme, which allows Approved Housing Bodies to purchase their homes and rent them back at an agreed rate.
