Inagh/Kilnamona have been crowned 2017 Clare Minor A Hurling Champions after a hard fought victory in Cusack Park this evening.
A late surge from Kilmaley, including a 53rd minute goal from Tom O’Rourke brought them back into contention.

However, another penalty for the side four minutes later when Cathal Darcy was fouled was saved by Eamon Foudy to keep Inagh/Kilnamona three points in the lead.
Inagh/Kilnamona then secured their own penalty two minutes into extra time, but knocked it over the bar to secure their victory with a four point margin.
Final score in Cusack Park was Inagh/Kilnamona 1-14, Kilmaley 1-10.
