As the Irish Open tees off, Padraig Harrington will create a new European tour record when he takes to the course shortly after 9am.
The three time major champion is playing in his 31st consecutive Irish Open which surpasses the record of Seve Ballesteros at the Spanish Open.

Other Irish hopefuls Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry get their rounds underway within 10 minutes of each other, with McIlroy underway at 1.35pm followed by Lowry at 1.45pm.
Harrington, who has 44 wins on tour, says his home tournament is always special but brings its own pressures.
