A Clare man who suffered a heart attack at the age of 29 is urging people not to ignore signs of heart problems, no matter how young they are.
The Irish Heart Foundation is running its ‘Love Your Heart’ campaign throughout September, with an estimated 15,000 heart and stroke patients in Clare.

The charity is highlighting steps people can take to improve their heart health, including managing stress, monitoring blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar, and taking prescribed medication.
Ennis native Ben Sweeney, who underwent a quadruple bypass, says people shouldn’t be embarrassed to call an ambulance if they feel something is wrong.
