The Gaelic Players Association has issued a statement in light of the recent controversies surrounding the Clare Senior Hurling panel, and the criticisms issued by former squad member Davy O'Halloran.
In a brief update, the GPA has confirmed that it looked into the situation and consulted with the parties involved, but says its dealings in this matter will remain confidential.
The GPA says it has told the players involved that their support is available to them, but it will make no further comment at this stage.
It had been reported that the GPA was to launch an investigation after O'Halloran said he felt "humiliated" by the way he was treated after he was one of a number of players deemed to have breached disciplinary guidelines.
