Fitzgerald admits side need to tighten up game for All Ireland Semi Final

Clare are into their first All Ireland Senior Hurling Semi Final since 2006 after seeing off the Tribesmen at Semple Stadium.

The Banner ran out six-point winners over Galway  in their Quarter Final at Thurles yesterday evening.

Conor McGrath blasted in the Clare goal in the first half Johnny Glynn and Niall Healy got goals back for the Tribesmen after the break but it wasn’t enough and final score 1-23 to 2-14
 
Afterwards Clare Manager Davy Fitzgerald paid tribute to his charges but admits they need to tighten up their game now.

Clare will take on neighbours Limerick in the All Ireland Semi Final on August 18th

Davy Fitzgerald says its going to be a challenge that he’s relishing.
