Killanena 5-1 St Ibars Wexford 2-0

 

Killanena 2-0 Craughwell Galway 1-1

 

 

 

Kilanena topped the Group and progressed to Final, playing Good Counsel Dublin. A low scoring affair, at half time the Dubliners held the slimmest of margins over Killanena. The second half saw Killanena pull ahead and take the title on a final score Killanena 0-3 Good Counsel 0-2.

In Truaghs last game against St Thomas Galway, Truagh had a 2-1 to 1-1 advantage at half time, only the Galwegians to have levelled matters by the final whistle, 2-2 apiece.

 

Extra time was required but this failed to separate the sides, who were still level on 2-3 apiece. To separate the sides '45s were required and St Thomas went ahead 2-5 to Truaghs 2-4 to top their group and progress to the Final.

Having won their 3 Group games, Scariff Ogonnelloe progressed to the Cup 1/4 Finals where the opposition was Cappataggle, Galway. The Clare outfit led 0-4 to no score at half time and drove on in the second half to win 1-7 to 2-1.

 

 

 

They play Loughgiel, Antrim in semi final at 12pm Sunday in Maghera.

 

 

 

Ava Quigley, Bodyke finished 6th in the Feile Skillstar competition.
