Fahy Proud Of Banner Battling Qualities After Munster U20 Hurling Final Loss

Clare’s wait for a fifth ever Munster U20 hurling title will rumble on after a dramatic and controversial loss to Tipperary at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

A black card for Jamie Moylan and a clear holding offence for Tipperary’s third goal were key moments as the Premier ran out 3-19 to 1-20 winners at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Tipperary led by the minimum at half time and while Clare led by three midway through the second half thanks to a Fred Hegarty penalty, late calls and late momentum swung the tide of the contest.

Clare boss Terence Fahy says while he’s disappointed with the loss, he’s proud of his players display.
