Fahy Proud Of Banner Efforts After Munster Final Loss

Clare’s U20 hurling manager says his players can be proud of their efforts after their season came to an end.

A strong Cork finish saw the Rebels crowned Munster champions on a 1-23 to 1-21 scoreline at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Sean Rynne’s second half goal helped Clare lead by four points after 45 minutes, but a Ben Cunningham inspired Cork reeled that in to take the title.

Clare manager Terence Fahy told Clare FM’s Derrick Lynch they couldn’t have asked the players for any more than they gave.
