The manager of the Ennis women’s rugby squad is praising Edel McMahon as an inspiration for young players in the county
The Kilmihil native co captained Ireland in their opening World Cup win over Japan, and is expected to be in the pack once more for their showdown with Spain this weekend.

McMahon currently plays her club rugby in England, having initially started out her journey while in college in Galway with Connacht.
Ennis manager Gareth O’Hanlon says she has reaped the rewards of hard work.
