The Canon Hamilton is on its way to Clonlara for the first time in 15 years after a decisive victory for Donal Madden’s charges over Crusheen this afternoon.
The South-East Clare men dominated for the majority of the first half with goals from Colm Galvin and Micheál O’Loughlin helping to put them a comfortable seven points ahead at the break.

Michael Browne’s side showed resilience in the second half and an early goal from Oisin O’Donnell as well as another from Breffni Horner seemed to suggest a comeback was underway.
However, Clonlara managed to retain their lead with a second Micheál O’Loughlin goal sounding the death knell for Crusheen’s chances.
The final score in Cusack Park was Clonlara 3-18 Crusheen 2-16.
