Clare’s Sharon Rynne has captured another national athletics title
The Inagh native, who runs for the Leevale club in Cork, was first home in the over 35 section of the Masters Women’s cross country race at the National Championships in Mayo.

Ennis Track also brought gold medals home from the championships as they captured the men’s intermediate team gold along with the over 50’s women’s title, while the Clare over 50’s team also won gold.
There were second place finishes for the Clare women’s Masters team along with the Clare and Kilmurry Ibrickane/North Clare over 65 men’s teams.
