Clare's minor hurlers are into the next round of the Munster Championship, after a 32 point victory over Kerry last evening.
The Banner raced into a 1-2 to 0-0 lead, with Aaron Shanagher netting for Clare, but Kerry fought back and the teams were level after 13 minutes.
However, the Banner went onto lead 2-10 to 0-07 at half-time, with Colin Corbett scoring a second.
Clare routed their opponents in the second half, with two more goals for Shanagher, and other strikes from Michael O’Shea and Stephan Conway giving them victory on a scoreline of 6-25 to 0-11.
Clare will now face Tipperary at Cusack Park next Wednesday, with a place in the Munster semi-final at stake.
