Laois have ratified the appointment of Mick Lillis as their new manager.

The Clare man has been granted a 3 year term.
Lillis is a Portlaoise club man and has previously managed them to 3 successive county titles.
As expected Seamus Cheddar Plunkett is remaining on as the county's hurling boss.
