Clare eye up two more league points on trip to Tipp

Clare go in search of their first league win over Tipperary since 1992 when the sides meet in Tipperary Town on Sunday afternoon.

The Banner opened the campaign with a seven point win over Sligo last weekend, and face the Premier in the last game before a two week break.

A win for Colm Collins side would see them with four points from two games played, with two more home fixtures to come.

Clare FM analyst Joe Garry feels victory Sunday could set them up for a tilt at promotion.

Meanwhile, Tipperary boss Liam Kearns says it's crucial they make the most of the home advantage for Sunday's game.

The Premier shared the spoils with Limerick in Kilmallock in Round One, after a late Ian Ryan score levelled the match.

Kearns says they view that as a point well gained on the road.

It gets underway on Sunday in Sean Tracy Park in Tipperary Town at 2pm, live commentary here on Clare FM in association with Maloney's Garden Machinery and Expert Hardware Smithstown and Skycourt Shopping Centre Shannon.
