Clare’s eight point victory in the All-Ireland Junior Camogie Championship yesterday evening has effectively secured a place in the semi-finals.
The Banner were 2-16 to 1-11 winners over Armagh in the Athletic Grounds and, providing they avoid a slip to bottom side Tyrone, they will move within 60 minutes of reaching Croke Park.

Two Sinead O’Keeffe goals in the final 10 minutes secured Clare’s success.
But joint manager Ann Marie McGann, speaking to Clare FM’s Brid McNamara, feels the defence also played a major part.
