Calls are being made for more investment in cycling infrastructure in Clare to help maintain and grow the sport in the county.
A new looped gravel track has been developed near Lisdeen by the West Clare Cycling Club, who recently hosted a successful Gravel League over the last few weeks.

There is currently no dedicated facility to accommodate competitive cycling in the county, with fears it could lead to clubs having to close due to a lack of participation.
West Clare Cycling Club chair Gary Kirby says its vital this is addressed.
