On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Pat Flynn was joined by Novel author, Angie Togher living in Sixmilebridge.
Angie’s first novel’ Old, Unhappy, Far Off Things’ was self published in 2021 and sold 500 copies, 6 of which were bought by Clare libraries.
Her second novel ‘The Hollow’ is set partly in Kilkee and is about a group of women in their late 20’s whose school days come back to play a part in their present lives.
Angie discussed her passion for reading and writing growing up and highlighted how she gets a lot of her ideas while she is out on walks.
She donated €1000 to Pieta House with the profits from her first book.
