Clare’s hopes of reaching a first Munster U20 football final in 24 years have suffered a major blow after defeat to Waterford.
The Deise landed three late frees to seal a 2-14 to 2-13 victory in Kilmihil, turning around a six point half time deficit.

Goals in either half from Donnacha O’Dwyer and Daire Culligan helped Clare lead by three points in the final ten minutes, but late scores proved the Banners undoing.
It means they now need to beat Kerry in Tralee next Wednesday night to have a shot at reaching the final for the first time since 2002.
