Nurses say the level of overcrowding at hospitals in Clare’s bordering counties is continuing to climb.
The latest trolleywatch analysis from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation shows there were 113 admitted patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning.

Galway University Hospital was the second busiest in the country, with 74 patients waiting on trolleys or chairs.
Overall, 678 admitted patients were waiting for beds at Irish hospitals today, according to nurses’ union the INMO.
