Cancer patients can now access PET-CT scans in the MidWest for the first time.
It comes as Alliance Medical has opened a brand-new state of-the-art diagnostic imaging facility at the Bon Secours Hospital in Limerick.

The centre will operate daily from 8am to 8pm and will also offer MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray, DEXA scanning, and Breast imaging.
Alliance Medical HR Director and Chair of Bon Secours Diagnostic Imaging Board Eimear O’Donnell says it will cut journey times for Clare patients.
