Separate Garda investigations are underway following the theft or attempted theft of vehicles in Clare.
It follows three incidents in Ennis, Shannon and Killaloe in the past week.
Ennis Gardaí are investigating the unauthorised taking of a vehicle after a blue Mazda was broken into on the Lahinch Road at around three o’clock in the early hours of Friday morning.
Two or three males were seen exiting a white Toyota before the incident, and the Mazda was later found burnt out in the Illaunamanagh area of Shannon.
A white Toyota Vitz was taken from a driveway in Shannon sometime between nine o’clock on Sunday night and seven o’clock the following morning, and was later found at Sixmilebridge railway station.
Killaloe Gardaí are also investigating interference with the mechanism of a vehicle parked on the Hill Road at around one o’clock in the early hours of yesterday morning.
