Passengers flying from Shannon Airport can now carry liquids, aerosols and gels in containers of up to two litres in their hand luggage.
The change replaces the previous 100-millilitre limit and follows upgrades to the airport’s high-tech 3D security screening system.

The new rules are already in effect, with passengers continuing to leave liquids and electronic devices inside their cabin bags at security.
