GPs are warning that free care for under-6s will have a detrimental effect on the sector.

It comes as the registration process for children to be signed up by their parents is due to open tomorrow, with the programme coming into effect from the 1st of July.
As of Friday morning, just over 14 hundred GPs had signed up to the scheme – a 58 percent sign up rate.
