“Glamping” Plane To Reach Destination This Afternoon

A disused Boeing 767, bought from Shannon airport to form part of an alternative glamping village in Sligo is due to reach it's final destination this afternoon.

The plane set sail on a barge from Knockbeg point on Thursday evening, after making the journey by articulated truck from the airport earlier in the week. 

Funeral Director David McGowan hopes to covert it into camping accomodation for holiday makers, close to the beach in Enniscrone.
