Gardaí are warning of counterfeit notes in circulation in Clare once again.
As the busy shopping period gets underway in the run up to Christmas, Gardaí have received a number of reports of counterfeit notes, particularly €10 and €20 notes.

In one case, a man sold a car for cash, and realised afterwards that the money was fake.
